Marie's Beeday
Justin's moms birthday was in March and his sister Heather went all out for it. We decorated cupcakes in fun spring colors and then I made the beehive cake using Marie's cake mold. I used a yummy apple cake reciepe that has this sinful butter sauce that goes on top of it. Heather also decorated each table with the grass baskets and honey pots and then each guest was given a bee and beehive cookie cutter. She invited family a lot of their moms friends for her favorite dinner-Turkey and stuffing. The food was really good(Heather cooked it). If you couldn't tell Marie really likes beehives. She does have a cute collection of decorative beehives.

Boston Rocks!
Probably my favorite city in the U.S. has to be Boston. I love that city. When I was 13 or 14 (can't remember) my oldest brother Ben got married and she was from Boston. That was my first trip to there. I remembered some things about it. I remember it was really humid and there were lots of mosquitoes. It wasn't until last year that I was able to go back to Boston. My brother and his family moved there a few years ago and I had to go for a visit (poor me). I fell in love all over again with it. I love it there. I want to move there, but my husband says no way. But each time that I go I love to savor all that I see. I love the history of Boston and the architecture. It is just a fun place to be. Not to mention the fact that an hour drive will put you in Maine, or New Hampshire, or New York, or Conneticut or any of the New England states for that matter. I just love it there and I have to be happy with visits, for now. Some day I may get my way:)
These are some of my favorite pictures from Boston that I took on my last trip in October.

Puppy Love
I love dogs. I do. My husband however doesn't like dogs so much. But he lets me have my dogs because he loves me and knows that they make me happy. These are the boys. Pippin is a West Highland white Terrier and Angus is a Scottish Terrier. I got Pippin two years ago in Oklahoma while I was on a trip visiting family with my parents and grandma. Angus I got two weeks ago. I found him advertised on line. It was a little daja vu because my wonderful parents and grandma went with me again to pick him up in Eager, AZ. The really funny thing is that both dogs have the same birthday on April 1st.
This is Pippin when he was a puppy. I will get some other photos to put on.

Our Love Story
Justin and I met in 2004. I had recently returned from my mission in the Micronesian islands and didn't know a lot of people. I didn't really have a lot of friends, as many of them married while I was gone. I also decided to go to a different singles ward. I never thought a familiar face would be there. My friend from before the mission,Heather was attending that ward. I was so excited. She invited me over, but I was still shy from being home and didn't go to her house. Eight months later, another friend invited Heather to come and hang out with us. I was so excited, because I secretly always thought that she was too cool for me to hang out with, but always wanted to get to know her. But I soon found out she was a super nice person. At that time I had recently broken up with a boyfriend and wasn't really wanting to date any one. We would hang out all the time at Heathers house and one of her roommates was her younger brother Justin. He was hardly around because he worked so much, but due to some events he started being around more. I didn't tell any of my friends, but I thought Justin was really cute. I just didn't know how to get him to notice me. At that time he had a Harley Davidson motorcycle and I had never been on one before. I asked him if he could give me a ride on his bike and he agreed. After the bike ride he asked me out on a date and as they say the rest is history.
